Update

Sorry, no pics this time around because our camera broke. The good news is we were able to get a new one and chalk it up to Jen's early birthday present. So more pictures and videos are coming soon. We are all doing really well. Jen just had an appointment with her OB/GYN and Luke Benjamin is looking great and we're still on schedule for a mid-February delivery. Kaylin is slowly learning to sleep in her "big girl bed," which has been pretty funny to watch. She's already pulled out several new tricks like making fake snoring sounds to get me to leave the room. Then after about 2 minutes I hear these little feet walking around upstairs. Every time I go in there, though, she is sitting happily in her chair reading books to herself (including 'Just Go To Bed' by Mercer Mayer, not sure she appreciates the irony). It could be worse, I suppose. She is dancing and singing all the time, and I have spent the last two days with "I want a Snufalufagus for Christmas" running through my head. Ophthalmology is going well, and the vertical learning curve continues. The colder weather has slowed down the trauma, giving me a little more sleep. We wish everyone the best this holiday season and hopefully we'll see you soon.

Birthday Party Weekend

Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Ben, Yia Yia and Pappou all came to Seattle to help celebrate Kaylin's 2nd birthday. This house fits 8! We had so much fun. Kaylin was extremely entertaining and thank goodness there were 7 people to take turns with her. We met up with lots of people to have her party at the Seattle Children's Museum Saturday. Sesame Street so Kaylin could hardly contain herself. She had so much fun and it was wonderful to watch her so happy. A special thanks to all the friends that came to play!

Happy Birthday to our beautiful little girl!

The traditional "wake up to parents" was in full swing. The poor little lady didn't know what was going on. Thank goodness there were Elmo balloons and then we got to watch Barney until mom was ready to go to school. Kaylin's first birthday above, and second birthday below. Some things haven't changed. She still thinks, "Are these people for real???"

Disney on Ice

Birthday week has begun for our little princess. Disney on Ice! We weren't sure how it was going to go. She was fantastic. She had a wonderful time. So many kids dressed in princess costumes. Gus and I had a good time watching Kaylin have so much fun. I'm guessing this is just the first of many shows we'll be seeing.

Kaylin felt 'moved' by the music. The Lion King "Can you Feel the Love Tonight." Well, she felt it. She would put her arms up in the air and hold them there. Every so often singing a note or two and then clapping. I was crying I was laughing so hard.
