New Year Resolutions

Not mine, of course. The kids. Once we got Luke some meds he is much better at sleeping without pain, but not sleeping in general. So then it was time to break the bad habits. As soon as we got back from Idaho it was go-time. I moved Kaylin's mattress into our room and we had a three day slumber party. The first night Luke cried four different times, but did it. The second and third he did great. Last night put the kids in the room together. He woke up around 2am, for a couple of minutes and put himself back to bed. Hooray. Sweet relief and brain cells, come to me! Knock on wood, of course. But we have had the most blessed year and look forward to the adventures of having two kids who can move in 2011. =)

Happy New Year!

Yia Yia flew out to CDA for Christmas day and drove home with me and the kids. A HUGE help as I was trying to pack up old toys for Value Village to make room for new toys. We have lots of stuff. =) She got the kids these T-shirts.

"I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. I want to speak to my Yia Yia!"

This is Neptune's castle in lights, made by Greeks in South Carolina apparently. Peg, mom, Kaylin and I went on the Coeur d'Alene boat cruise and saw Santa. He even read off a list of good kids and Kaylin was on it! Thanks to Grandpa for the fun present!

Grandma and Grandpa have Mickey Mouse in their backyard. BIG hit!

Luke's looking at him through the window. He's cruising all over the place. Also, as of two days ago pulls himself up on everything and anything. Lots of bonks, but it's part of the gig I suppose.

Grandpa does a great job of minding Kaylin. She loves to tell him how to play, when to play, where to play...

My first Christmas stocking. What did I get???

Kaylin was a bit overwhelmed with the whole holiday. Lots of people. But she did great and when felt overwhelmed would go upstairs and hang out by herself, usually with Cinderella or Little Einsteins. Then she'd be ready to go. She was thrilled to find that Santa really did get her the Thomas toy she was hoping for. And she got a few other things as well. =)

Auntie Sallie is also one of Kaylin's favorite playmates.

Uncle Sean and Auntie Malou got Luke Sofie la girafe( that's how I spell things in French). Apparently every baby in France has this giraffe. Luke LOVES it! Helps for the teeth that are coming in.

Uncle Ben had his work cut out for him when Kaylin was around. She always wanted to "jump" or be a rocket. And yes, I use an absolute to describe it!

New airplane! With Grandpa and Pappou both pilots, it's inevitable.
