Potty Time

For the last month or so Kaylin has been good about going potty in her potty before every bath. I've tried to get better about asking if she needs to go and just taking her upstairs to try. She really likes when she gets stickers for going. Today she went #1 and #2 in the potty! Amazing. Gus had the weekend off so we went for a drive to the Evergreen fair. Kaylin was a crazy person. All she wanted to do was run around in the crowd and go on rides she was too small for. She tried to get herself inside the cage where the pigs were, but as soon as one came too close she jumped right back into dad. She did get an overpriced ball and some fair food, so we had the all-American experience. She has been tired this week (so have I!) because we went full time back to work and daycare. She still loves to read and spends most of our ride to Renton either reading books out loud or singing songs. It's been very fun this year with my carpool buddy.

One episode of Sesame Street has 10 as the number of the day, hence the small celebration at the end. She's been counting for awhile now but we haven't been able to get it on tape. Covered in yogurt is apparently the way to do it. Also- Kaylin thinks everyone has a baby in their belly button. She'll lift up your shirt (doesn't matter where you are) and find it for you.

Play Ball!

Mama's friend from high school is here visiting for the weekend. This is his first meeting with Miss Kaylin and she has approved! She says "NATE" perfectly and loves the new Cookie Monster he brought her. Friday we all went to the Mariner's game. We were a little worried because the game started after bedtime, but she was a trooper and sat and watched the WHOLE game. She clapped and yelled when everyone else did and danced when the batters were up and they played music. We're still working on "boo Yankees!" Here she is walking with Nate to the game. There would be no carrying involved. Yes, Cookie Monster needed to attend the game as well.

FIRST HAIR CUT! We jus took a little off the mullet. Still rocking the mullet, just a slightly shorter one. She was really good. There is a kid's salon up the street so she played with cars the whole time. I have some locks in a bag for the baby book. =)

Lots to see

First of all, you'll notice from the picture on the side, we are 198 days away from our second child. He/She is due Feb. 24th. We're thrilled! I'm also more fat than I want to be. The tummy just shoots out the second time. Oh, well. The doctor appointment showed a beautiful heartbeat and we're so blessed to be adding to our family.

Amber got married Saturday, so Kaylin and I were in Helena for a week. My mom flew out Wednesday night to help, and for the weekend we had a team of wranglers: yia yia, gamma, gampa, and dada. Thank goodness! Kaylin was a superstar flower girl. Dada was waiting at the front of the church and mama was in the back to get her started. She walked all the way down the aisle, enjoying all her admirers. Hooray!
