Dang Smart phones!

Because of those dang iPhones, we don't take as many pictures on our camera. Boo, indeed. Hopefully we have not lost all our readers, but I understand! Here are some pictures from Labor Day at the cabin with Gus's residence friends. Loves to swim!

Children's museum. Come to find out it is almost impossible for one adult to go with the two children. They are non stop and of course don't always want to go to the same place. =)

Vacation

We took a vacation recently, starting in Coeur d'Alene with playing on the lake, then off to Montana for a friend's wedding. Jen and the kids then went to Minnesota for more fun. Here are a few pictures.

Renton River Day parade

Kaylin (and family) were in the parade in Renton with her preschool. People on the streets would wave, and she'd wave back. She wanted to ride the whole way. Too cute!

Swimming Lessons

Luke's 1st swimming lessons. He loved it and was fearless. This is him "reaching and pulling" towards to toys. Where Kaylin was extremely tentative in this class last year, Luke was the kid who had the most fun in his class.

The only kid who wanted to WALK across the mat.

This is Kaylin's first time in a swimming class by herself. The first few times she didn't want to leave the wall or the teacher's side. Yesterday she jumped up and down and goes underwater by herself. She's making HUGE strides every day. She gets out of the pool and says, EVERY TIME, " That was so much fun!"

Thomas the Train!

This year I was able to get tickets to "Day Out with Thomas" in Snoqualmie. They are usually sold out but I found a couple for Friday. Good times. When I told Kaylin we were going she said, "LUKE! We are going to see Thomas! What does the train say, Luke? CHOO CHOO!"Intense. Below you will see the kids tattoos.

This would be Sir Topham Hat. Real person inside there. Luke blew him a kiss, naturally.

This is a big deal. She always wants to go in, but never actually does. She is not one for chaos and having kids jump all over the place. However, she did it. She stayed on the side and held on so she could see me and Luke, but she did it. And said as she was jumping, "THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!"

4th of July

We went to Gasworks Park. We took our bikes and got the kids hooked up to Gus's bike on the trailer. What a beautiful ride. Gus and I are going to be hurting tomorrow. Especially since this whole thing wasn't enough and we went 10 blocks farther north of our house on the way home to stop at the park.

Kaylin made a kite. Of course added her famous monkey to it.

Luke likes to play peek-a-boo. This kid is almost always smiling or laughing. The other times he is screaming about his teeth or eating. =) Overall, he is an extremely happy child.
